Skip to main contentMy DNS provider told me my domain is not delegated to them
Use your terminal to run a dig command to verify if your NS records are added correctly:
Replace your-name.example.com to your domain name
dig NS your-name.example.com @ns1.kevsrv.me
dig NS your-name.example.com @ns2.kevsrv.me
If it any ns server returned nothing or wrong NS server records, wait for an hour and check again, if it is still not showing the correct NS server records, contact us.
Also check our Status Page to see if any of our service is down or under maintenance.
My site says “Not Secure” or SSL Error
If you just connected your domain:
- Wait: SSL certificate issuance by providers like Vercel or Let’s Encrypt can take up to 24 hours.
- Check DNS: Ensure your DNS records are correct (CNAME/A records).
- CAA Records: If you heavily customized DNS, ensure you haven’t blocked Let’s Encrypt via CAA records.
I updated DNS records but nothing changed
DNS changes take time to propagate across the internet. This is known as propagation delay.
- It typically takes 15 minutes to 1 hour.
- In some cases, it can take up to 24-48 hours.
- You can use DNSMap or Whatsmydns to check global propagation.
I see a 404 or 502 Bad Gateway Error
This usually comes from your hosting provider, not the domain registry.
- 404: You might not have linked the custom domain in your hosting dashboard (Vercel/Netlify settings), or your build directory is wrong.
- 502: Your application server crashed or is restarting. Check your deployment logs.
My domain is stuck in “Pending Action Required”
If you have already filled out the “Usage Reason” form but the status hasn’t changed:
- Refresh the page.
- Ensure you actually clicked Submit.
- If it has been > 24 hours since submission, please contact support.
Note: If you do not submit the reason within 3 days, the domain is automatically removed.
